This section will teach you the basics of the UltimaRatioMC Network.
This includes the features and commands that are shared across many game modes.
Some game modes have their own features and commands, which are explained in their respected sections.
Enchanted Book (Slot 1): Server Information and Links
Nether Star (Slot 5): Server Selector, select what game to play
Chest (Slot 8): Cosmetics Menu, where you purchase and equip cosmetics
Player Head (Slot 9): Friends and Party Menu, add friends and send party invites
Cosmetic Coins are the currency that you use in-game to purchase player cosmetics such as particle effects,
morphs, and emotes. There are also pets, miniatures and gadgets. Cosmetic Coins are gained through crates,
giveaways, events or by purchasing them from store.ultimaratiomc.net.
Crates are named the same on all game modes, but what you can receive from the crate is unique for the specific game mode.
What you can receive from the crates will change overtime, so there are always new items to win!
Coming Soon... an auction house system to sell won items and cosmetics.
How To Use:
To use a crate, you right click on it with the respected crate key.
To view what is in a crate, you left click on it.
Crate Keys are Acquired Two Ways:
1) Playing the respected game mode, and buying them through the in-game store
2) Purchasing them with real money at store.ultimaratiomc.net
We wanted to create a crate system that was fair to both the player who doesn't want to spend money,
and to the player who wants to support the server. By playing the game, you will acquire enough in-game
money overtime to purchase a crate key. It will take time, but dedicated players can achieve them.
When you purchase Crate Keys, they are delivered to your game mode of choice, not all of them.
Crate Keys are designed to be purchased on our store, to support our hard work.
Friends and Parties can be added and created through the GUI, or through commands.
Here are the commands:
- /friends add [player name] ~ Sends a friend request
- /friends accept [player name] ~ Accepts an incoming friend request
- /friends deny [player name] ~ Denies an incoming friend request
- /friends msg [player name] [message] ~ Message a friend, works online & offline

- /party join [player name] ~ Join an incoming party request from a player
- /party invite [player name] ~ Invite an online friend to a party
- /party kick [player name] ~ Kick a player from a party
- /party leave [player name] ~ Leave a party
- /party message [message] ~ Message the entire party
- /party leader [player name] ~ Give leadership of a party over to another player
Chat Tags are acquired through crates, giveaways and events. Chat Tags show up... well you guessed it
The chat tags that can be won in the crates will change overtime, so there are always new ones to collect!
Coming Soon... Being able to auction off Chat Tags for in-game currency.
Chat Tags are global, so they show up on all game modes. But, you can only win specific tags on specific game modes.
You can access tags from an NPC, or by doing /tags.
These commands can be used throughout all of the servers, and will help with your overall experience.
- /lobby or /hub ~ Takes you back to the main lobby
- /goto [game mode] ~ Takes you to respected game mode
- /msg [player name] [message] ~ An alternative to /friends msg
- /spawn ~ Takes you back to the game mode's lobby or spawn

Overworld Dimension Spawn
Welcome to URMC Survival Server!
We are so happy you came to check us out. Welcome to the Wiki/Tutorial on the in-depth layers,
we know today as URMC Survival. We start the tutorial exactly where you start when you spawn into the server. Spawn!
At Spawn, you will see your fellow timeline jumpers, and you can interact
with almost every NPC! Some give simple responses, while others lead to
more server functions. Right-click to interact with any NPC.
Spawn Shop & Cosmetics
West of Spawn is where you can locate the shop and cosmetics NPC.
Mr. Gerald carries basic in-game necessitates for which you spend your
in-game currency. Sir Creedie is where you can purchase and
equip cosmetics. You can buy cosmetics with cosmetic coins.
Lord Tzibus is where you can buy luxurious goods for players
looking to spend their IRL money. We appropriate any support!
Auction House
The Auction House is where you can go and sell your special, exclusive in-game items
for in-game currency. Set your price, and wait for someone to come purchase!
The auction house is located south of Spawn.
Crates and Crate Keys
Located West of Spawn, you will find Magus Wormwood, the holder of crates!
There are five different types of crates you can unlock with crate keys.
Vote crate keys are given once you vote successfully on our server's listing.
You can do /vote to get direct links to our server listings.
You can earn 6 total vote keys per day.
Basic, Legendary, and Ultima crate keys can be purchased from Magus Wormwood
or on UltimaRatioMC's store for IRL money.
Quest crate keys are given once you complete a quest. You can come and use your key
to unlock an exclusive piece of quest gear.
Game Mechanics
There are a few new game mechanics that we have added to vanilla survival.

Seasons rotate approximately every 24 hours.
Here are the season's effects and temperatures:

- Higher flower spawn rate
- Pink tree leafs
- Fireflies at night
Summer

- Falling leaves
- Shooting Stars
- Fireflies at Night
- No rain
Autumn

- Special night particles
- No crop growth
- Reduced plants
Temperature
Your current temperature can be found above your hunger bar (as shown above).
Your temperature depends on your location, the season, and what is around you.
The temperature will affect your player depending on if you are cold or warm.
All dimensions have temperatures relating to their atmosphere.
Cold Temperature Effects:
- No player healing at -10 degrees
- Slowness at -5 degrees
- Freezing at 0 degrees
Warm Temperature Effects:
- No player healing at 40 degrees
- Slowness at 40 degrees
- Overheating at 50 degrees
Touching Water:
Summer: -10 degrees
Spring: -4 degrees
Fall: -4 degrees
Winter: -10 degrees
Moving Effects:
Running or sprinting will raise your player's temperature by 4 degrees.
Walking does not affect your player's temperature.
Staying Warm:
The MOST efficient way to stay warm in the winter is to hold a bucket of lava.
Holding it will keep you sufficiently warm during the winter.
A bucket of lava will raise your player's temperature by 15 degrees.
Second to the bucket of lava is a torch.
You cannot stand still with a torch, but it will keep you sufficiently warm while moving.
This is also the same for a lantern. All of these items can be held in your offhand.
Torches and lanterns will raise your player's temperature by 7 degrees.
To heat your living space, place campfires and torches. Campfires raise your temperature by 15 degrees.
Prevent Overheating:
Holding Blue Ice is the MOST efficient way to prevent overheating in the Nether, near lava, and
other hot situations. That will cool you down by 15 degrees.
Second to Blue Ice is Ice and Packed Ice. That will cool you down by 6 degrees.
mcMMO Skills
Our survival server has a default installation of the classic mcMMO skill tree plugin.
However, we do have a custom GUI to manage your skill tree.
To access the GUI, do: /mcmmogui
For more information on mcMMO, go here.
Wolf Mechanics
We have added a few extra mechanics to Wolves in-game that
make them more valuable to their owner once you tame them.
Every tamed wolf gets a preassigned name and colored collar,
but you can rename by doing: /mydog rename.
Wolfs will teleport automatically with you when you teleport into
another dimension. This requires your wolf not to be sitting.
Your wolf will gain experience and level up by killing mobs.
Wolfs with higher levels will get more health and deal
more damage the higher the level they reach.
You can view your wolf's stats by doing: /mydog stats
You can set your wolf free by doing: /mydog free
Finally, you can also do: /mydog comehere to teleport your dog.
Tree Chopping Mechanics
You can use any axe to cut down an entire tree in one swing.
Cut any part of the tree and TIMMMMMBEEERRRRRR!
Axes do take damage from chopping the entire tree.
Trees will also automatically replant, so other people will
get to cut that same tree later down the road!
Punching a tree will only get a single piece of wood,
and will not cut down the entire tree.
There are a handful of commands that gives your Survival experience a boost!

On the server, players can create their own shops where they can sell their items to other players
without needing the player present. You can also set your own warp so people can visit your store easily.
Step 1: Place Your Chest
Place a regular, single sized chest on the ground.
Fill your chest with a single type of item you want to sell.
Step 2: Sign On Chest
At the same time, hold Shift key and Right Click on the chest with your sign.
Skip the first line on the sign, by pressing enter.
On the second line, type the amount of items you want to sell.
On the third line, the "B 1000" is the price people buy the item from you for.
On the third line, the "S 1000" is the price people sell the item to you for.
On the fourth line, add a "?" to that line.
If you don't want to buy or sell an item, don't add a price to your sign.
Make sure your sign is formatted correctly, if not it will not work.
Step 4: Final Product
If your sign is formatted correctly, the sign should automatically change to match the picture below.
Players can now Right Click on that sign to buy or sell your item.
Buying 1 Diamond for $1000, Selling 1 Diamond for $1000
You can create warps so other players on the server can come and enjoy your creations!
There are five different types of warps you can create.
Types of Warps
The five types of warps are Houses, Shops, Farms, PvP, and Other warps.
House warps are intended to show off your base, house, or creation that you have made with other players on the server.
Make sure to protect your creation, or else you are at risk of players griefing it!
Shop warps are intended to give players access to player shops that you have created.
Sell the goods you have accumulated to other players on the server for profit!
Farm warps are intended to share your farm creation with other players. Typically, players should have access to these
farms by default without asking you to permit them. These can be mob or crop farms.
PVP warps are intended to share creations meant for PVPing with other players. Typically, players should have access to PVP
in these locations. PVP traps of any kind are not allowed. Make sure to protect your creation, or else you are at risk of players griefing it!
